Everyone is invited!
Join us for social time and a potluck dinner followed by a brief meeting and an educational and entertaining presentation.
The Grange will serve dumplings made by Annie Ke and curry from Namaste Kitchen. Please bring Pacific Rim-compatible food to share (lovingly labeled). We also encourage each person to bring their own personal dishes and cutlery to use; some folks even step up their game and bring a fun placemat! We have backups if needed and are happy to welcome you.
Grange musicians will entertain us.
Our program:
Have you ever wondered about the wild wiggly world of worms, or vermiculture? Join local worm warrior Shawn Patterson from Good to Grow Garden Teas to learn about an exciting new method of turning your kitchen scraps into garden gold. The rich worm castings are excellent for growing a garden. At this month’s lecture learn how to simultaneously make an effective worm tea (for garden applications) and start a new bin.
Donation: $10.
