CALIFORNIA HOMEMAKERS ASSOCIATION (CHA) is a free and voluntary organizing  drive of Sonoma County low-paid domestic and service workers with a self-help, free of-charge benefit program run by and for members. CHA’s annual budget-saving Holiday  Campaign provides a way for hundreds of low-income members and their families to celebrate  the holidays in dignity. CHA holiday food distributions are made possible by all voluntary aid  and participation of businesses, churches, students and other concerned individuals.  Thousands of Sonoma County residents are struggling to afford ever-increasing rents,  gasoline prices and PG&E utility rates. Over 1/3 of Sonoma County’s service worker households  can’t make ends meet!  Individuals, families, and groups are invited to volunteer to prepare and run our Holiday Food Basket Distributions!
