General Meeting & Potluck

Grangers warmly welcome guests and visitors to our monthly general meeting. Come for social time starting at 5:30pm, followed by a potluck dinner, music, and an informative presentation.
Please bring an appetizer, entree, side, or dessert to share (lovingly labeled), and your own dishes and utensils. The Grange will serve entrees from Turmeric Cuisine of India, including Wild Salmon Coconut Curry and Saag (Spinach) curry with veggies, along with Brown Rice and Basmati Rice. All organic, dairy Free, Gluten Free.
Peter Schurch will share a presentation on The Amazing Qualities of Nitrogen: The history and mystery of Nitrogen, our most
precious and rare nutrient. We’ll explore it’s power of life, the wars that have been fought over it and why it’s everywhere but so difficult to see.

Mend & Befriend

Gather at the Grange to mend and craft while making new friends. Everyone is invited to our hand-craft circle every other month. Learn new skills, get help with a project and strengthen our community one stitch at a time.

Produce Exchange

Bring your extra produce to the Grange to share and take home some of others’ surplus. Anything leftover will be donated. Master Food Preservers will be on hand to answer food preservation questions. Learn more. Held on second and fourth Tuesdays.

College Planning Workshops

Two free college planning workshops will be held at the Sebastopol Grange Hall, conducted by a professional college counselor with decades of experience in college admissions and student counseling. The first will focus on college admissions; the second will focus on applications to the University of California and UC eligibility. Open to all West Sonoma County students and their families. Confirmations/Waitlist will be sent by Tuesday, Sept 22nd. The Craft Fair takes place on Sat. & Sun. Nov. 21 & 22, 10am-4pm.

SOUP Sonoma County: A community micro-funding dinner

Enjoy a meal of soup, salad, and bread;, connect with neighbors; hear four community projects pitch their ideas to benefit Sonoma County. Vote for your favorite; the winner gets the money from the door. RSVP here.
If you have a community project that needs funding, apply to present your project at SOUP.
Suggested contribution of $5-$50 at the door (Cash or Venmo). No one turned away for lack of funds. Spanish translation available.

Grange Gleaning Program Survey

Our Grange is considering a Grange Gleaning Pilot Program, Our first step is a survey to see if we have Sebastopol Grange members who have produce they are unable to harvest and would like to donate their surplus. Learn more.
